Meet our teachers

Sheila Vecchiarelli

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Mikayla Miller

Mikayla Miller began dancing at the age of 2 under the tutelage of her mother and grandmother. As her love of dance grew she went on to complete all her examinations in I.S.T.D Modern and Tap as well as R.A.D ballet. She also attended multiple summer intensives in London, England. As ballet became her true passion in both teaching and dancing she went on to train for her Sole Seal at age 18. In May of 2014, Mikayla successfully accomplished her Solo Seal as well as her I.S.T.D teaching qualifications in Tap and Modern.

Mikayla’s teaching path was sparked when she was 17 and began working with the students at Simcoe Dance Academy. There she was trained in her teaching qualifications and had the opportunity to teach a variety of ages and genres.

It was those students that made her fall in love with teaching and all the rewards it brings. Her love of teaching brought her to NBS where she graduated the Teacher Training Program in 2019. Having accomplished her RTS training she was able to put her students in for their ballet exams that fall. She also completed her teaching qualifications in I.S.T.D National dance while attending NBS. Keeping up with the most current forms of training, Mikayla competed her PBT Conditioning Training as well as I.D.A’s Teacher Training Program.

Mikayla’s love of dance continues as she pushes her students to their fullest potential. Encouraging each and every one of them to follow their passion and dreams.
