Simcoe Dance Academy’s competition team is our most intense program offered. Simcoe Dance Academy has brought home many prestigious awards and competition wins across Ontario. Our competition team promotes hard work, commitment, and team work. Our competition team is by audition only, if you are ready to work hard, develop and grow stronger as a dancer, and join an amazing and supportive family, audition for SDA’s competition team!

what to expect?

• Dancers will on average train 5-20 hours a week (depending on age)

• Must attend Summer Ballet Intensive

• Must attend Competitive Team Intensive

• Must take 1-2 hours of Ballet Technique per week

• Compete in 4-5 competitions from March-May

• Showcase of all Competitive Routines prior to the First Competition

• Professional photoshoot at the beginning of the season

• Year end recital performance

• Team events throughout the year
